The first time we meet will be an opportunity to get to know each other. You will be able to decide if you feel comfortable talking to me and if you feel you could trust me. You will be able to ask me any questions which you may have about counselling and the way I work. We will talk about what is going on to cause your current difficulties.
We will then decide if we will continue to meet, how often, when, fees, and anything else which may be on your mind.Will You Tell Anyone Else What I Tell You?
What is said between us is confidential and only in exceptional circumstances will this agreement be broken. What constitues these circumstances will generally be if I suspect that there is a high risk of serious harm to either yourself or others. When we first meet, I will go through a counselling agreement with you which clearly states confidentiality. You may however telephone me to discuss any concerns which you may have in this area. Each session costs £45 How many sessions will I have to have?
